The Rising Tide: Revisiting Kill Bill — 1 Comment

  1. I’m still struggling to come to grips with what Tarantino did; he used to be one of my idols. Most of his movies are tainted for me now, and not only for what he put Uma through. Given that Tarantino and Weinstein were so tight, it is inconceivable that he wasn’t aware of all Scumbag Harvey’s attacks on women, or at least his general disdain and disregard for their feelings. He never spoke up, never said anything anout it, and it took him 15 years to finally push the studio into giving up the foktage of the crash. This puts Quentin rught up there in bad guy territory for me. Not Polanski level, but close. And I’m not the kind of person who can divorce the creator from the material, even at the best of times. Good analysis, Erin.
