A bit late today, but some days in the middle of winter, you just need to kick back and bundle up as it’s cold outside.

This week, we’re beating the winter blues by taking a look at Nicolas Winding Refn’s Neon Demon, which I happened to enjoy quite a bit. I absolutely adored Jena Malone in that film, and damned if Refn didn’t do some great things when showing us beauty and the female body. As an added treat, we’re recommending Tom Hardy’s turn in The Drop… because, well, Tom Hardy and a puppy can make everything right in winter. Talicia is back with a trailer this week too, so we’re really getting into the swing of things this year. Come play with us, kids. It’ll be fun.
