Between the terror attacks in the U.K. and the fucking Nazi in Portland, the world is still a sinking hole. I know, we should look on the bright side, but dammit, it’s extremely hard when people are self-righteously killing one another. I wish I could hug everyone I love and keep them safe.

But I can’t, because even if I could hug everyone I loved throughout the globe, I still can’t keep good people safe. So I’m going to go back to talking about movies, to see if something I can say might make someone’s like a little more bearable. This week, we’re going to talk asexuality in Amelie on Wednesday. Thursday will see a recommendation for The Girl With All the Gifts.  Here’s hoping it can at least make a difference for someone.
