I am convinced that spring is not coming. It’s going to bypass us this year. So is summer. We’re going to take a cue from the Monty Python boys: winter is going to give spring and summer a miss, and go straight into autumn. So here’s a pretty good representation of my springtime joy level right now.
This week, we’re going to talk about relationships in Lord of the Rings. Specifically, we need to talk about the fact that Rosie is a consolation prize to Sam for being a good little helper on the journey. I think you can smell what The Rock is cooking right about now. We’ll then recommend that you watch Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, because we’re going to pretend the Gus Van Sant version doesn’t exist. Even though Hitchcock was a creep and a control freak and we can’t have nice things.
Yeah, it needs to just become spring already.
