Friday is the 13th. What better way to celebrate than a horror film? A horror comedy! Netflix is at it once again with the offering The Babysitter. It drops this coming Friday, and it’s directed by McG. Here’s a look.

Okay, not a Bella Thorne fan here, but I’m willing to tolerate her for some Ken Marino sarcasm. I think this has the potential to be a bit more tongue-in-cheek than some recent offerings. You know what this generation is missing thus far? A Sam Raimi. We need someone who knows how to poke fun and appreciate the genre, and I feel like we don’t have that right now. I’m hoping McG can breathe some life into that aspect of the horror world. I’m not asking for a replica – just some hope.
