This morning, I woke up to a freezing cold home filled with donuts, apple cider, and enough beer bread to keep me happy and stationary all day.

We’re about to get into the wonderful month of October soon (which means HORROR MOVIES! SQUEEEEE!!!), so it’s time to gear up with a healthy dose of three things we could all use in life: critical thinking, a bit of humor, and some new perspective. Talicia will bring us a new trailer on Tuesday, while Erin will provide a look at rape in the Fede Alvarez films Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe. Thursday will see a recommendation for the comedy The Ten. On Friday, Nika will be bringing us her take on the gut-wrenching Soldier’s Girl, a personal favorite of mine in the Lee Pace department. So grab a pumpkin spice latte and get comfortable. It’s going to be emotional.
