Well, that was a fun end to the week. Hope you enjoyed the parallel universes, parental bonding, slasher spoof and vacation creepiness, because we’re back for more this week! Instead of going for a more linear, structured approach, I decided to throw caution to the wind and cover films which can boggle the mind and leave you in a state that can best be described as, “Huh?”

On the menu this week, we have Calvaire (which left me wondering why I wasn’t pressing the STOP button), Dark City (which I love despite the fact that it has a massive plot hole the size of Mt. Rushmore), and a recommendation for a fun movie based off of a comic series with serious video game influences.

After the fact that I took my kids to see Goosebumps on their request this afternoon, I’m off to go kill something in a video game. Let the fun begin.
