Well, this is it, folks. This week in American history is one that fills me with such dread and sorrow that I’m turning to the one sure-fire thing in my time of need: George Washington memes.

To help ease the pain, we’re going to do what we do best: horror movies. Lots and lots of horror movies. On Wednesday, we’ll take a look at The Wailing, in part because everyone loved it and I did not. One of us has to be the voice of dissent, and I’m willing to take that on. Thursday will see a recommendation for I Am Not A Serial Killer, which I really dug. We’ll even get to trailers this week.

For anyone feeling blue about the coming years: we’ll get through this.
