To recap: the world is still a trash fire.

So let’s spiral a litlte bit this week. The piece on Wednesday is not going to be the typical analysis – it’s me sharing some personal experience in relationship to having a kid with a behavioral disorder, and the visceral reaction I have to The Babadook (hint: I’m going to lose some folks I know after this one). Thursday will see a recommendation for My Life Without Me, a wonderful film about a woman who chooses to make her life matter in the face of death. I’m not even going to pretend that this is going to be a happy, feel-good week. It’s going to be a tough on around here.
