Thanksgiving is officially behind us, which means bring on the Christmas. In the past, I used to be one of those people that dreaded it. Now that my kids are old enough to be past the Santa thing (and I don’t have to move that motherfucking elf around), there’s a lot more of a relaxed vibe, and hence more enjoyment. I’m ready. Bring it (but only if you leave out Streisand singing “Jingle Bells” – just, no).

This week, we’re taking aim at the episode “Symphony of Illumination” from How I Met Your Mother. Long story short: it’s total balls how Robin gets treated in her decision to remain child free. Total. Balls. Since we’re a bit grouchy, we’re also going to recommend Surviving Christmas, because I hate myself and I like watching the version of Ben Affleck other people are finally starting to see. I promise, we’ll get more cheerful this season. Kind of. Sort of. Maybe.
