Observation of the week: my Roku home screen is decorated pink and flowery for Mother’s Day, and I swear, it looks like a Summer’s Eve bottle exploded onto my televion. Send help.

This week… we’re not going for happy fare. I’m so sorry to disappoint you, but I won’t lie because there’s enough lying in day-to-day life. Upfront honesty: we’re going to look at class and crappy behavior in Tale of Tales, which is gorgeous and deep and the bit of dark magic we all need but don’t necessarily deserve. After that, there will be a recommendation to see Bad Samaritan, because even though it gets batshit ridiculous at points, it’s a helluva lot of fun. So is this week going to be all sunshine and roses? Nope, not even close. But we’re going to have fun and own that.
