In order to understand where I’m going, we first have to take a look at a very funny tweet in context of this week. After a tone-deaf ad by Pepsi (with an honorable mention from Nivea), United came to the rescue and got everyone talking about something else…. that is, until good ol’ Sean Spicer jumped into the arena. Mimicking a battle cry worthy of World of Warcraft, someone came up with this tweet:

So, naturally, that got me searching for the original Leeroy Jenkins clip. Which led me to this little number from Finn O’Hara:

This is perfect. I would have loved the battle cry to have been a bit more true to the original bit, but I’m willing to overlook it. Imagining this as a heist gone wrong is just fantastic. It’s so dead serious that it’s humorous when we get to the pay off, regardless of if we’ve seen the original. We all know the person that would do this.
