So yesterday, I had to skip Saturday Shorts. Long story short: I got into a minor car accident this past week. Since then, I’ve been feeling really blah. So I had to take the day off to rest. I needed some time for myself.

This week, though, I’ve got an analysis and a recommendation for you. We’ll go exploring female sexuality and traditional gender roles with Anna Biller’s The Love Witch. Thursday will see a recommendation for Midnight Meat Train, one of the better adaptations of a Cliver Barker story (I’m looking at you, Nightbreed). Hopefully we’ll get to a short on Saturday.

Also, we’re celebrating one year Talicia and Nika! HUZZAH! Thanks for being part of our family for a whole year, ladies!
